Tenders for contracts 6884/1 - External Water & Sewerage and 6884/2 - Internal Civil Works closed at 2.00pm Tuesday 3 August 2010.

This tender is in relation to the construction of civil works associated with the Miller's Block Residential Subdivision (Stage 1), consisting of 45 residential lots. Miller's Block is a freehold land owned by Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council and is located adjacent to the  Hope Vale township.

This project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.

Regional Waste Management Feasibility Study

Tenders for the Major Infrastructure Program Regional Waste Management Feasibility Study closed 12.00pm Friday 16 July 2010.

The objective of the tender is to assess existing regional waste management practices, investigate and recommend waste management solutions and develop a comprehensive and detailed implementation strategy with which the project can be successfully delivered.

MIP is jointly funded by the Australian Government (Torres Strait Regional Authority) and the Queensland Government (Department of Infrastructure and Planning).
